Accessible Soap For All
Accessible Soap For All (ASFA) was launched in 2020 to benefit community organizations supporting vulnerable populations.
The Covid-19 pandemic was the impetus for the development of our Accessible Soap for All campaigns, as we knew that a community effort was needed to help combat the spread of the virus through proper hand hygiene. Our goal during each campaign is to both raise awareness of the agencies and their amazing contributions to society at large, but to also help them get soap into the hands of those who need it. We try to partner with one agency every 1-2 months, each campaign being tailored to best suit the needs of the partner.
Since the inception of our program in March 2020, we have worked with many Alberta not-for-profit agencies, including Bissell Centre, The Edmonton Food Bank, WIN House, HIV Edmonton, Turning Point (Red Deer), Boyle Street Community Services, Wood's Homes (Calgary), YESS, Terra Centre, and many more. To date, we have donated the equivalent of over 7,000 bars of soap.
